Study on Influence Factors of Kerf Width and Surface Quality in WEDM Processing of Copper-tungsten Alloy

Copper-tungsten alloy (CuW) is a kind of electrode materials with low wear ratio,which is widely used in precision electrical discharge machining (EDM) and EDM molding of difficul-tto-machinemate-rials.Lows peed wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM) is suitable for the machining of electrodes with kerf,clear edge or clear angle or high aspect ratio structures.The effect law of the machining parameters in WEDM on kerf width,processing speed and surface roughness is studied.It provides theoretical guidance for the actual processing.
