The microstructure and the deformation strengthening mechanism of the 93WNiCu
tungsten alloy by cold rolled deformation are studied by the transmission electron microscopy (SEM) analysis and the static tensile experiments. The results show that rolling deformation leads to fibrous microstructures, strength improvement and elongation reduction. The microstructure in 93WNiCu
tungsten alloy of rolled deformation shows that tungsten particles turned to be fibrous and the binding phase distributed homogeneously around the tungsten particles. The tensile strength of 93WNiCu by cold rolled deformation is 1 270 MPa and the elongation is 4 %.
